This prestigious annual award recognizes the efforts and achievements of an associate who has consistently demonstrated extraordinary initiative and dedication that embodies the vision, values, and goals of the company.  Mr. Giangrasso received the award for his high standards of excellence and for his dedicated oversight of the ConEdison Solutions' technology infrastructure.

Mr. Giangrasso began his career at ConEdison in 1977 as an engineer and was subsequently promoted to a number of positions, including senior systems operator, department manager of telecommunications and senior project manager in systems operations.  Seeking a new challenge, he joined ConEdison Solutions in 2001.  Mr. Giangrasso immediately made his impact felt in his new professional environment and was quickly promoted to director.

He has championed an array of improvements and positive changes affecting all aspects of the company's IT operations, including upgrading a well-architected computer room, fortifying the ConEdison Solutions' network, and expanding support in the areas of mobile computing, Internet and intranet activity. 

Ms. Ryan said that he has also served as "a customer service role model" for the entire ConEdison Solutions team through his responsive interactions with employees and his ability to address issues quickly and courteously.

Mr. Giangrasso earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and a master’s degree in computer science from New York University.  He and his family reside in Yorktown Heights in northern Westchester County.
