JIM DIXON NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF ENERGY SERVICES AT CON EDISON SOLUTIONS
White Plains, NY - December 12, 2006 - ConEdison Solutions, one of the nation's leading energy services companies, today announced the assignment of Jim Dixon as Vice President of Energy Services. Mr. Dixon currently holds the position of General Counsel for ConEdison Solutions.
Mr. Dixon, a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of varied energy industry experience, will be responsible for developing and delivering energy-based performance contracts and demand-side energy solutions for government, institutional, commercial and industrial clients.

Jim Dixon joined ConEdison Solutions in January 2004 as Vice President and General Counsel. He has been responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal needs and is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. Mr. Dixon has been instrumental in promoting development of both the commodity and energy services lines of business for ConEdison Solutions. He also provides legal counsel and support to two of Consolidated Edison, Inc.’s other competitive energy businesses: Con Edison Energy and Con Edison Development.
Before joining ConEdison Solutions, Mr. Dixon held positions of increasing responsibility at the Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con Edison) as an electrical engineer in its construction, operations and engineering design organizations. He also was an attorney in Con Edison's Law Department Nuclear Regulatory and Commercial Litigation Services sections, eventually attaining the position of Assistant Corporate Secretary. During his time in the Law Department, Mr. Dixon also served as ConEdison Solutions' first dedicated legal counsel from 1998 until 2002.
Jim Dixon is a registered professional engineer in New York State and retired with the rank of major from the U.S. Army Reserve. In the Reserve, he commanded a Combat Heavy Engineer Company and was Executive Officer for an Engineer Battalion. Mr. Dixon is an honors graduate of both the basic and advanced officer courses at the United States Army Engineer School.
Mr. Dixon received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and a law degree from New York Law School. He is admitted to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia and several federal courts. Mr. Dixon is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on its Public Utility Committee.
