STATE OF FLORIDA APPROVES BGA, INC. AS CERTIFIED PROVIDER OF ENERGY EFFICENCY SERVICES
White Plains, NY - February 27, 2008 - Following a competitive selection process, ConEdison Solutions, through BGA Inc., its energy service and engineering subsidiary headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has been selected as a qualified energy services contractor by the State of Florida Department of Management Services.
Effective, January 1, 2008, BGA has been pre-qualified as a guaranteed energy performance savings contractor to provide energy conservation measures for State agency-owned or leased facilities. Florida counties and municipalities are also eligible to participate in this program. BGA has performed energy services for governmental entities in Florida, including St. Lucie County. For St. Lucie, BGA’s team performed project management, site energy audits, energy modeling, engineering design, construction management, commissioning, training, and ongoing measurement and verification. The project included lighting retrofits and a new central chiller plant.
