ConEdison Solutions is helping the federal government, the Nation's largest energy consumer, significantly improve its energy management in order to save taxpayer dollars and reduce emissions that contribute to air pollution and global climate change.
ConEdison Solutions helps Federal entities meet their energy efficiency and infrastructure investment requirements through Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC). An ESPC is a relationship structure that enables the Federal Government to implement physical improvements to their infrastructure while paying for them out of the future stream of energy savings. ConEdison Solutions will provide the financing necessary to fund the project and will guarantee the savings necessary for the agency to realize the benefit of implementing an ESPC.
ESPC projects developed, implemented, and financed by ConEdison Solutions are helping Federal energy managers meet the objectives of Executive Order 13123 and the Energy Policy Act of 1992 - increasing energy efficiency, improving facility infrastructure and freeing appropriated funds to be used for mission-critical activities
