O&R BUSINESSES AND HOUSEHOLDS CAN GO GREEN AND SAVE
Clean Energy Option Costs Less than Standard Electricity Prices

White Plains, NY – Sept. 16, 2009: ConEdison Solutions, one of the nation's leading energy services companies, is now offering clean and renewable "Green Power" to Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (O&R) households and small businesses at a price lower than current utility electricity rates. During the month of September 2009, local energy users have an opportunity to lock in a one-year, fixed-price contract for renewable energy while saving up to six percent compared to the utility’s September rate for electricity from conventional sources.

O&R’s price varies month by month, while ConEdison Solutions’ price is fixed for the length of the contract, offering protection against a potential rise in energy prices.
