JIM MUELLER JOINS CON EDISON SOLUTIONS AS VICE PRESIDENT OF CUSTOMER OPERATIONS

White Plains, NY – Sept. 22, 2009: ConEdison SolutionsConEdison Solutions, one of the country's leading energy service companies, has announced that Jim Mueller has joined the firm as Vice President of Customer Operations. Mr. Mueller brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new position. Since 1975, Mr. Mueller had been employed by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (CECONY), which is a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc. along with ConEdison Solutions. “In the highly competitive world of energy services, market leadership demands first-rate customer service," said Jorge J. Lopez, President and CEO of ConEdison Solutions. “Jim Mueller has significant expertise and a strong background in customer service that will strengthen our leadership team and broaden our competitive advantage." At CECONY, Jim Mueller assumed positions of increasing responsibility in Customer Operations and Human Resources, including department manager in Staten Island and general manager of Customer Assistance. He was also instrumental in the consolidation of CECONY’s Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan customer-assistance centers. Mr. Mueller most recently served as Director of The Learning Center, where he managed the delivery of training services for more than 14,000 CECONY employees. Mr. Lopez also paid tribute to Tom Ringwald, the company's outgoing Vice President of Customer Operations, for his "34 years of outstanding service to the Con Edison family of companies." Mr. Mueller holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University at Stony Brook.
